The late Thomas Paine wrote the following: “O! ye that love mankind! Ye that dare oppose, not only tyranny, but the tyrant, stand forth! … O! receive the fugitive, and prepare an asylum for mankind.”

What did he mean by the last line and how does that relate to his quote and Politics?
